Yoga and Pilates: effects and results

The benefits gained from Pilates and Yoga training include the strengthening of deep muscles (also known as postural muscles), as well as the abdominal and back muscles. Superficial muscle tone is improved without increasing muscle mass.

Anyone can practice these disciplines, even people who have joint, lower back, and sciatica issues. For others, these disciplines can actually prevent back pain and lumbar area issues.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING A COURSE

Pilates and Yoga training is done with bare feet, on a non-slip mat.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing which isn’t too baggy; this allows you to check your posture and muscular movement. Most importantly, don’t forget to bring the desire and awareness of being able to improve your physical and mental condition.
